OnTempo Golf ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

OnTempo Golf is designed with a privacy-first architecture. The app collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• Session data: Swing type, swing count, tempo ratios, session duration, and on-target percentage for each practice or training session.
• User preferences: Your custom tempo ratio settings, swing duration preferences, and app configuration choices.
• Purchase status: Whether your free trial is active or you have completed the one-time in-app purchase.

How Your Data Is Stored

All user data is stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's Core Data framework. Your session history, preferences, and settings remain on your devices. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal data.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store:

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you voluntarily contact us for support)
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Health or fitness data beyond swing motion detected by the Apple Watch accelerometer during active sessions
• Photos, videos, or audio recordings
• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Browsing history or usage data from other apps

Apple Watch Sensor Data

During Practice Mode sessions, the app uses your Apple Watch's accelerometer and gyroscope to detect swing motion and calculate tempo ratios. This motion data is processed in real time on the Watch and is not transmitted to any external server. Only the resulting tempo ratio values are stored in your session history.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your session data and preferences may be synced across your Apple devices via Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This sync is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policies. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Analytics and Tracking

OnTempo Golf does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We comply fully with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external communication is with Apple's StoreKit framework for purchase verification, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

OnTempo Golf is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Your Rights

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:

• Access: Your session history and settings are visible within the app at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete the app to remove all locally stored data. Individual session records can be managed within the app.
• Portability: Your data remains on your device and under your control.

GDPR and CCPA Compliance

OnTempo Golf is designed to comply with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not collect personal data on external servers, most regulatory requirements are inherently satisfied by our local-only data architecture.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
