OnTempo Golf is a product of Chartline AI ("we," "us," or "our"). Chartline AI is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
OnTempo Golf is designed with a privacy-first architecture for the native app. The app collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
Native app session history, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's Core Data framework, and may sync through iCloud if you enable iCloud sync. Web swing analysis uploads are sent to OnTempo's analysis service for processing.
If you use the web or in-app video analysis feature, your uploaded swing video is transmitted to OnTempo's backend so the swing can be validated, processed, and analyzed. The service may use third-party infrastructure providers, including cloud storage and OpenAI's API, to complete the analysis and return your tempo results.
Uploaded videos are not retained for ML training by default. Training dataset collection requires a separate server-side setting and explicit upload consent.
We do not collect, transmit, or store:
During Measure sessions, the app uses your Apple Watch's accelerometer and gyroscope to detect swing motion and calculate tempo ratios. This motion data is processed in real time on the Watch and is not transmitted to any external server. Only the resulting tempo ratio values are stored in your session history.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.
If you enable iCloud sync, your session data and preferences may be synced across your Apple devices via Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This sync is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policies. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
The native OnTempo Golf app does not include third-party advertising frameworks and does not track you across other apps or websites. The marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page performance.
Purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit framework and are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Web and in-app video analysis may use cloud hosting, cloud storage, and OpenAI's API to process uploaded videos. If you submit your email through a launch notification or support form, that email is sent to the form provider used for that purpose.
OnTempo Golf is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

OnTempo Golf is designed to comply with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not collect personal data on external servers, most regulatory requirements are inherently satisfied by our local-only data architecture.
